In the 19th and 20th Century, ‘serials’ were the most widely distributed form of popular media in the United Kingdom. All over the country, printing presses were alight with the latest weekly editions of short story collections, ready to be enjoyed in literary magazines and pamphlets by millions of readers.

With the rise of radio, serialised stories slowly faded into obscurity. We think that the comeback of the short story is well overdue, and you can be a part of it.
